San Martin de Los Andes is Switzerland meets Argentina. It is a wonderful mix of gorgeous and down right tacky! Anyone with a sweet tooth would be in heaven here! Some cakes look like they could single handedly bring on a heart attack! Needless to say we haven’t sampled any yet! There are roses everywhere, someone has obviously gone to a lot of effort when planting them. It is a popular tourist destination for Argentines in the summer and skiing is popular from here in winter. We are enjoying being in a smaller place where everything is with walking distance. We are becoming a little more Argentine every day, having lunch about two, dinner around nine thirty and sleeping in.
