Our Italian Eat, Pray, Love

Our Italian Eat, Pray, Love

In the words of Kelsey our wonderful house mate,” I am doing my own take on 'Eat, Pray, Love' while I am in Italy. I am going to eat good food, pray for good food and love good food!”

And that is exactly what we did! I think drink good wine and good coffee also needs to be thrown in there too.

Our amazing Italian picnic, complete with a 1.5 litre bottle of vino rosa that was passed around and skulled straight from the bottle!
Thankfully we ate before getting our hands dirty potato picking!
The village had one bar/coffee shop/pizza place and you could find us there most days before and after work. God bless you Richie!
Actually sometimes during working hours!

It wasn't all eating and drinking. We were in Montefegatesi to help Charlotte, a gorgeous English lady with her property management business and other jobs around her home.

Not ours unfortunately but one we cleaned!
I can see a gardening career in my future!

Our house had two bedrooms and was in the village. It was spread over three levels. The lounge and kitchen were on the middle level.

The view from our bedroom window on the top floor.

Montefegatesi is situated 842 meters above sea level in Northern Tuscany. It is the highest village in the region. We spent just over two weeks there and loved every minute of it!

This small car was typical in the village.
And here is Nick is demonstrating why small cars were so popular!
We adopted a local cat whose owners were away. We named him after a certain German dictator but called him 'Hits' in public. Check out his mo!

“I want to go someplace where I can marvel at something. Language, gelato, spaghetti. This is my no carb left behind experiment.”
